39 Weeks

It is Thursday so it is Embrace The Camera Day over at The Anderson Crew. Yesterday marked 39 weeks pregnant! The longest I have ever been pregnant. Eli was induced early due to preeclampsia and Lilliana came at 38.5 days. Needless to say I figured he would be later than the other two. I am miserable though! It is hot and it is making it difficult. The good news is I really have little time left and it will happen sooner rather than later.

I took the time and tried to recreate the picture we did last year when we found out we were expecting Ari.

Photobucket

Oh it was such a cute picture and looked so good compared to the ones I attempted. I am not as fast moving and the kids have gotten bigger. Surprisingly Eli was my easiest. He did everything he was asked. Lilliana on the other hand was  squirmy. So here are our failed attempts

Photobucket

Tripod is crooked and can't see Lilliana's board. Oh and boy do I look tired and HUGE!! I guess that comes with the swelling and almost 10 months pregnant

Another Outtake...........................I cut myself off and everything is all out of wack but faces are cute!

Photobucket

The last and final one although at a very bad angle and makes me look huge!!! Also Eli's board is upside down! Go figure.......................

Photobucket

We attempted and Embraced the Camera!!!

Finally did a silhoutte too! Hopefully it is my last and Little Ari arrives soon. This mom is ready and her body needs a break!

I will be so glad when I can move normal again. I am ready for his arrival! I have an appointment today so hopefully everything is still going well and maybe he will decide to come tonight.

This next week is one of my favorite times of the year. I love celebrating the Fourth of July! I have a lot of things pinned on my Pinterest board so I am hoping to get the energy this weekend to do some fun things with the kids or hopefully having a baby and taking some newborn photos. Either way I am hoping I get some energy!!

Lazy Days

It is a good thing we planned nothing for this weekend. Anthony and I had little energy. The kids had not been sleeping well due to the start of getting sick with colds. Poor kiddos spent a lot of time on the couch resting.

PhotobucketPhotobucket

Eli felt awful on Friday but seemed to perk up by Sunday. Lilliana was bad all weekend. Poor little girl falls asleep then wakes up coughing and crying, "mama, mama." I feel so bad for her. She usually is such a Daddy's girl but this weekend she wanted me. It was nice although her trying to lay on me with my huge pregnant belly has been a bit challenging.

They did perk up yesterday afternoon to go out and help Anthony mow the lawn. Lilliana was running away in the front yard so Anthony put her on the porch and I sat with her so she could watch them. She asked for the bubbles though and enjoyed them thoroughly. Don't mind the messy face. She was outside in the sand, dirt, and everything else.

PhotobucketPhotobucket

As soon as Eli saw her playing with Bubbles he wanted to join. He was jumping like a crazy boy though and I ended up sending him back outside as he was knocking Lilliana over and just being crazy.

Photobucket

It may have been a lazy weekend but Anthony and I enjoyed doing a lot of nothing. We have not done that in a while. Hopefully the kids feel better soon. Not a whole lot is planned for the week other than Dr. and Midwife appointments.

Ari has dropped noticeably so he could come anytime. I keep thinking it might be the day as I have had a lot of contractions the past two days that have been somewhat painful. They always stop though. It is really frustrating when it interrupts my sleep but my body is working and that is what is important. He will be here soon! We all will just have to be patient!

38 Weeks

I am deciding silhouttes were a bad idea for my weekly/monthly pictures whenever I get to them. My blanket and reflector is in Anthony's car so I can't get them done today! BOO!! I just need to be more organized with my photo equipement.

I am technically 38.2 weeks today. Ari can come any time. I think I would be ever so grateful if it were sooner rather than later. I have been having a lot of Braxton Hicks or toning contractions. Some are painful but nothing ever comes of them. I officially had to stop wearing my wedding ring two days ago during the heat. Although I probably could wear it today. I am not complaining it is the longest I have ever been able to wear it while pregnant.

Thankfully Anthony has been working here in our little town so we have gotten to see him for lunches and it has been early nights for him so I have a lot more help with the kids! It has made it easier on me. Although bending over, getting up, and even walking is getting to be a chore.

Last Thursday I had maternity photos taken. I really debated whether or not to do it. I decided to since this is probably the last baby. One of my wonderful midwives is also a photographer and she has done the other kids. Eli's was done last minute in the hospital and they are some of my favorites. So I had her do Ari's too! Here are a few of them at 37.1 weeks. Yes, I am huge!! He has had a big growth the past couple of weeks and I really feel it!

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

I love how they turned out though. I know I may not be the skinniest pregnant person but I know my kids will love seeing what I looked like pregnant. I know I love seeing the few I have seen of my mom. I know I will also look back and think, "wow I was that big!?!"

We have nothing planned for the weekend and I am so glad. It is the first weekend in a while we are just relaxing! We have been so busy preparing for Ari I am so glad we can just enjoy the summer weather and relax. It would be nice if Ari made his appearance too! We are ready for him!

Enjoying Summer

Photobucket

Yes, It has been that hot this week!! A couple days in a row. It also has not been cooling off at night and this very pregnant woman is hot, cranky, and just not loving the heat! So in order to keep myself comfortable and not have a lack of patience we have enjoyed doing summer things. I can't say I have been completely happy the entire time but I have tried. Thank goodness we have a couple window air conditioners although they have not cut it completely this week.

We took an afternoon and hung out in our back yard beside the pool complete with very swollen legs and ankles.

PhotobucketPhotobucket

Of course it included popscicles................

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

This little girl had a meltdown because her popscicle melted off the stick. How fitting...........

Photobucket

It would not be a day in the pool in our backyard if one did not attempt to get in the sandbox wet. It is not like mom has anything better to do than clean up the house and bend over with a huge belly to clean them off............RIGHT!! No seriously they try it every time. One usually succeeds.

Photobucket

Eli also discovered his new favorite thing to do.

Photobucket

He was even nice enough to share his fun with his sister.

Photobucket

Honestly she loved it and kept giggling for more or I would not have allowed much more than the first time it happened.

Photobucket

All in all it helped the heat that day. We even enjoyed a night out for dinner as I did not feel up to cooking that night.

Yesterday it was just as hot. We ate dinner and headed to Aunt Toni's pool. Anthony convinced me that even though I am huge and I should put on my suit and cool off. I really did not want to as I just can't imagine anybody having to see a huge 38 week pregnant body attempting to swim. Regardless it felt great!!! I am glad he talked me into it.

It has been a couple weeks since I have done Embrace the Camera. I am back to it this week and linking up with Emily at The Anderson Crew  for another Embrace The Camera.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Thankfully it is cooling down. I will post a belly pictures sometime tomorrow also probably my maternity photos I had done if she has them all posted. Maybe there will be a baby too! He can come anytime and I can't wait. I am very uncomfortable and ready to snuggle him. Have a wonderful Thursday!

Father's Day Weekend

I would like to say I had wonderful plans for Anthony for Father's Day. Unfortunately that would not be the case. I am tired, hot, cranky, and yep over being pregnant. Honestly I really want to run away until I deliver and not talk to anybody or deal with anything in this house. Yes, I am being a whiner. Regardless we did have some fun. We also got a lot of work done.

Anthony had some of Friday off and while he was working Lilliana and I stayed home and cleaned the house. I mean really cleaned like I was nesting cleaning. Eli was at daycare and I can't believe how much more I can accompolish with just one child. Miss L was my mini me and wanted to help with everything. I let her help with the Dishes for the first time as the previous day she had been trying to get up to help.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Friday was a hot day and I had watermelon I needed to cut. I also knew it would help with my swelling so I cut up the watermelon only to find a little girl who sat and ate a huge amount of it on my kitchen floor while I cleaned the pantry. Silly girl loves her fruit.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

After she and I took naps Anthony and I took her over to Aunt Toni's so she could swim with the other kids. They loved being in the pool.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

When we got home Eli devoured watermelon too. They went through the entire watermelon in almost 2 days. I did help but they ate it non stop it seemed.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Saturday I worked and Anthony came in to town for Lunch. It was a nice surprise. Then I ran some errands. I had a few last minute things I needed for Ari and I also did Father's Day shopping.

Anthony opened his present on Saturday night as I got him some Legos and Eli and he were playing with them. Eli loves Legos as much as Anthony. They play every night now it seems. Anthony has been working in town and coming home for lunch. He asks Anthony every day when he comes over if they can play with them. It is always the first words out of his mouth and he says Legos so funny. Here is a video of him saying it.

The airplane in the video is what Anthony got for his present.

They play for hours together. The truck in the next picture Eli built pretty much by himself by following the Lego directions. He amazes me with his building skills at only 3. He did so well and is so proud of it.

Sunday we went to Church. We finally found a church I believe. I do love it there and Eli loves going too. The rest of the day was spent cleaning Anthony's and mine room. The upstairs has been a wreck from the remodel and the dumping ground for storing things. I really need to have a yard sale but it is going to have to wait a little bit. Regardless I needed a nice comfortable clean spot to rest after having Ari. With Lilliana I never really had that. With Eli we were not prepared as I never anticipated to go early. I have been determined this pregnancy would be different and I would have everything done and clean because physically I am able to this time. Thankfully I have accompolished that now. Everything is clean and my room is ready. There are a few things I could do and it would be even better but I have been cleaning so much the past week I think I am going to relax. Thanks to Anthony's help with getting all that done yesterday.

He may not have had a glamerous Father's day....secretly I think we were both hoping we would have a baby. Regardless we accompolished a lot. He is the best Dad any child could want. He loves the kids so much. His love for them amazes me. Even when I was so unsure about being pregnant again he was so excited and in love with Ari. It took me a lot to come around but his love for him has never failed even before they are born. Anthony loves when I am pregnant. Some guys do not touch and feel their children when they are in utero. That has never been Anthony. He has always poked talked and kissed them. I love it. Every single one of them has known when it was Daddy. He loves his kids and they are so blessed to have them.
