It is Thursday! Time to Embrace the Camera.
Last fall Eli was in at work with me and another mom and her son came in. They began playing so well together and we talked about getting together for a playdate. The craziness of winter and holidays and then spring came about. We finally got together in April I think....I can't remember. Regardless we had so much fun with them. Holden and Eli are a lot alike. They both like superheros and to "fight/wrestle." I struggle many days with how much he should do as most parents don't enjoy his roughness. I also realize he is a BOY and that is completely normal to turn everything into a weapon. Thankfully she feels the same so to see them wrestling and playing and us both being just fine with it it was a relief.
We had been trying to get together again but between work schedules, flat tires, sick kids etc. it took a while. Finally on Monday we were able to meet again. We went strawberry picking. I have wanted to go for 3 years but with a newborn or being pregnant it just never happened.
Eli and Lilliana had so much fun as did Heather, Holden, and I. Ari on the other hand well I think pictures will tell it all.
This pretty much describes Ari the entire morning. I have no idea why except for the fact that maybe I wouldn't let him play in the bucket of strawberries.
I have to give Heather credit as she picked strawberries and held Ari. I am not the most talented when it comes to those things. I don't like holding him and doing things. It bothers me. She took it in stride and was so helpful.
We had such a great time. I ended up bringing home quit the collection of unripe white strawberries thanks to Lilliana.
They are ripening so that is good. I must have worn them out that day too because they crashed together on their bed.
I am off to get ready to go on a bike ride that I promised them this morning. Have a wonderful Thursday and don't forget to Embrace the Camera.
