Embracing 3 Months

Today we are linking up with a couple blogs............ Emily at the Anderson Crew for Embrace the Camera and also with Christy over at Counting God's Little Blessings. She has started a joyful mom Monday post. Yes I know it is Thursday! I will post more later on that:)

I am busy!! VERY BUSY! I know I thought I would get leaf pictures done. Sadly I have not but this weekend is catch up hopefully and I will get a lot of client's and my own photos finished.

When Anthony and I began dating we knew we wanted myself to stay home with the kids. It was just something we thought was important and we would make the necessary sacrifices. Sometimes life does not goes as planned. I have loved staying home with the kids. I really have. Sometimes I think most moms at certain points find it lonely and I will be honest not always enjoyable. Regardless we do it. At times there are moments of being burned out. Then God sends along little extra surprises like a 3rd baby when financially we are not really ready. He also sends along great and wonderful job opportunities to help with the income. That has been our case. Working at the diaper store has been great. I do love doing it and the kids get to go with me although they get bored. On top of all that a I now have a business that is flourishing and growing. I do love it. I love seeing how I am growing and my work is coming along.

Where am I going with all of this. In this hustle and bustle of being mom, photographer, wife, maid, etc. I sometimes forget to really be MOM the most important job. I have learned that taking the time with each child is so beyond important. Some things I have learned to do to help in this is taking frequent editing breaks and rolling on the ground with them or playing tea party. I also take certain ones to work for individual time. Eli loves to go the most. I have actually been letting them help me edit a bit. Lilliana seems to enjoy that the most. The other thing we do together is individual pictures. Eli also loves to take photos now so we have a time planned today to go and take some photos together. Life may not be ideal all the time but go with the flow and work in that special time with your little ones. You will be amazed at the joy they bring you and the things you will remember from it.

Yesterday happened to be an Ari day. He went to work with me and we tested a new carrier. Then I took him to get his 3 month photos as it was a warm wonderful day!!!

My little thumb sucker! I have always wanted one and now I have one. I know most people say it is an awful habit to break but I think it is adorable at this age. I am sure in a year I will be begging for solutions to stop it:) Ironic really!

My little Pumpkin. I had wanted to do this with Lilliana last year. Unfortunately she was just soo big for her age and the pumpkin crop was not good so we were not able to find one big enough. This year we were on a mission and found a big one! Take the time and Embrace the Camera today!

The good thing about babies is they can't get away-lol! Our new little one will be here in Feb., so I am thinking pink & hearts, since it's our first girl! :)
