Truth: I sometimes wish I would have never started monthly photos of any child. My personality is one that once it is started it has to be finished. We did one and now we must do them all. I probably create more work for myself, but I know if I didn't complete these I would regret it. The real issue is wrangling two babies and keeping them both happy. Regardless here we are at 4 months and internally I am panicking at how quickly the time is going. I feel like I just did this.
Daphne
I swear she is the happiest baby in the world. She makes life so easy. When we originally picked names for them I always said B was Daphne because she was always transverse and I thought she would make my delivery difficult and was the difficult one. I was so wrong. Annalise is easy too don't get me wrong, but out of the two Daphne is easier.
Had I posted this on the actual 1st I would have said she had her first tooth. Last week she was so upset at bed and screaming in pain. She was gnawing on her hands. Her bottom gum is swollen so I just chalked it up to teeth. Anthony began looking in her mouth and we were both surprised to see a top tooth on the side had come through. Her other side in that area is swollen too. Well, she was a bit cranky all weekend and so I was rubbing her gums. Low and behold that tooth we thought that came through came off!! I was so surprised and then it hit me that it was a Bohn's Cyst. I just laughed. So while her gums are swollen, she does not have any teeth poking through yet.

She loves to roll to her side and almost to her stomach. I don't think we have ever had a baby roll from back to stomach first. Usually it is the other way around. She still is not rolling yet. She has moved to size 3 diapers and weighs about 15 lbs. She is smiley all the time except when my camera is covering my face. I have noticed they are not as use to it as the other kids were which is fine. She also knows her name.
Annalise
My curious girl. She is content to sit and watch everything but she is also interested in everything around her. Three times I tried to take pictures and get her adorable smile and every time all she wanted to do was look out the window, stare at the blanket, watch the dogs....you name it she was more curious about everything. Oh well, these truly show her personality.
She is no where near rolling. There is too many rolls to have to roll over. LOL She does really well with tummy time though. She will grab toys on the floor and look intently at the blankets.
She also knows her name. She is wearing size 3 diapers and weighs about 16 lbs. She likes to be held more and is beginning to hate being in the car seat when we go out. She would rather I wear her in a wrap. She also watched her first firework show the other night. All of our other kids have slept through it. She was wide awake on my lap and watched it smiling and kicking. She is a chatterbox too. She loves to talk and fuss and tell you all the problems and good things. Eli and I both had the same thought in one day that we may have to ignore her when she starts talking. She jabbers all day long and sometimes it is really loud. It is cute though. She is easy for bed time. Daphne is too. 7:30 she fusses and basically says put me in my crib. I take her upstairs and she gets a big smile as soon as she sees our room. I change her and lay her in bed after I have nursed her. She kicks, talks, smiles, and giggles then falls asleep. I have more thoughts on this for a future post. Daphne does the same.
We are loving seeing their personalities emerge and how different they are. Having two at one time is just so fun. I never realized how wonderful it would be until we have had them.
Look at the difference four months makes! They just grow like weeds
