Right next to the cloth diaper store where I work is a place called Play. It is great! The owner does an amazing job and has all sorts of classes and parties set up.
A couple weeks ago she posted about a Superhero party. It looked like so much fun. I just didn't buy tickets because we were not sure how much work Anthony would have etc. Then I was over talking to her one day and we were discussing the party and her taking the photos for it. So we worked out I could take the pictures for the party and Eli could go. It worked out great! Looking at it now she was so busy being a great hostess and taking care of her two kids I have no idea how she would have had time to take pictures.
So I came home and told Eli. I had planned to make him a superhero costume but with everything going on that did not happen. Instead this past Thursday we went to Meijer and got him a costume. It was just he and I and we had a blast together. From the start he wanted to be Spider-Man so that is what he chose. He was so excited to go to Play. and would not stop talking about it. Then I felt old on the way home from Meijer. The radio was on Family Life Radio and they were doing their annual shareathon where they raise money for broadcasting. There were telephones ringing in the background. Eli kept asking what that noise was. At first I had no clue what he was talking about and then I realized exactly what it was. Yes I felt old. I had to explain to him about a house phone and how as I kid I never had a cell phone. It was funny. It is funny to think my kids won't have that race to get to the phone first point in their life like I had with my sisters.

Eli was so excited to go and asked everyday if it was the day. Lilliana and Ari are sick and I worried Eli would get sick before he got to go. Thankfully that did not happen although I am almost positive today he is not feeling the best.
Finally Saturday rolled around. We got ready to go...............
I had already seen the decorations from the night before. Kasey went all out and did such a great job getting it ready. It was perfect!
There were so many details and thoughts that went into it. It was wonderful.
First we took his picture in front of the mural.
Of course there was a typical Eli picture. I am not sure about this so I will grab myself!!
We did get him to do the spider pose though.
I had some pictures to take so he was off to play. His favorite thing seemed to be playing with the "kryptonite" in the maze.
Tim the Music Man was even there playing. He brought shakers. I tried to get Eli to come over and sing and dance, but he did not want to do that.
He got a tattoo.......
I think what he enjoyed the most though was getting his face painted.
She used her phone's camera to show him what he looked like. He LOVED it! Then we got more pictures of him with his face painted.
As we were about ready to leave he had to go to the bathroom and that was just hilarious. He was clown in the mirror. I just had to take his picture.
We had a blast! Kasey did a GREAT JOB!!! I can't wait to take Lilliana to the Princess one. I have to say he was the cutest little Spider-Man I know!!
