August Catch Up

I have no comments or anything to introduce this so I will start right in. I am so boring with writing. At least I can take half way decent photos......

I gave Ari his first hair cut. You actually can't really tell but I did. Anthony wants me to buzz it but I REFUSE to lose his curls so I can't do it.

Here is before.....

Here is after..........

With the nice mild weather we have spent many evenings outside after dinner while Anthony worked on cars. We were in the habit of playing fetch with the dogs. The kids love to throw the ball for them.

I have also tried all year to get the kids outside to jump in the puddles. For some reason it never happened until last week! It was right before nap and pouring. I grabbed them and we headed out. We may have laid down later than normal but they loved it.

This little girl has become my dream helper. She comes in when I am doing the dishes and asks, "Is there anything I can help you with?" She loves to help me cook and clean. It is adorable!! I am grateful for her and her willingness to help.

Last week I went to look with at a camera with a friend for her. I had never been to Ikea as it is about an hour and a half away. She needed to go for a few things and so I went. It was so much fun. I fell in LOVE. I did manage to walk out spending under $20. I have no idea how anybody could normally do that in that store. It is a bring cash only store. Ari went with me and he had fun too.  I also did a little lens swapping for my own lenses. I never used a certain one so I sold it to her and bought a used one that I like better. The rest of the photos are me trying it out. It is very different from my usual lens as I am in the habit of being really far back now I need to get close, but I like it a lot!!

Finger pupets for $1.00 from IKEA thanks to clearance. I have been looking for some and was so happy to find these. The kids really like them too!

I really fell in love with this lens for these next photos. I specifically told the kids to stay out of the mud........

Obviously she decided that she was not going to listen. Have a wonderful Tuesday!
