To the Orchard

These are of course are couple months late and out of season, but I was waiting for our Christmas cards to go out to share. 

Every year I take photos in the Orchard with the kids. This year it happened to fall around the time that the girls were six months. Anthony asked me if I was going to hire Meg at Shöne Foto who did our newborn photos for six months photos. He knew I was busy, but he also wanted a family picture now that they were bigger. I was overwhelmed really and knew I could not pull of our usual orchard photos this year. So, I thankfully got one of Meg's very limited mini sessions. I was thrilled. So a little different this year, but definitely better and well worth it. Meg is so talented. She shot all of these in 20 minutes plus 45 more photos I didn't even buy. She just is that amazing! 

The last photo is my favorite. If you have hung around on my blog for well years, you know my favorite photo is a back lit photo especially in September. I have shot them for years for clients and many of my kids. We have yet to get a family photo like that though and just because the light is so spectacular and my favorite it is my favorite. My crew is pretty great too!! I am so thankful for Meg and can't wait for this coming year to see her again for photos.
