The one thing I love about photographing my kids is catching tiny glimpses into the future. When we visited my family, my sister gave Lilliana a bunch of hand me down clothes from my niece. In there was this dress that she bought thinking it was something different. My niece grew out of it and consequently Lilliana inherited. It is the most outlandish dress, but of course she LOVED it. So I knew we had to do something fun with it. My grandparent's yard of course is beautiful so I took her out and took some very quick photos of her. At this point I glimpsed her future of getting married and it was bittersweet.
When she tries on wedding dresses one day I will remind her of these and pull them out to reminisce of my sweet little girl.
