February it is freezing outside and there is snow. That means nothing to Eli. I began getting questions, "When is is time for the carnival?" That is when the countdown begins. The Sunday before the carnival starts the trucks begin entering town. Since we live on mainstreet the kids know it is that time. They talk about it all week and everday we get asked if it is the day we get to go.
Usually we are able to walk down and watch them set up. This year with Anthony's work day and constant rain we didn't walk down. Eli did somehow manage to get me to walk down the following day. I didn't even realize that is what he was doing. He wanted to play in the front yard and then they all asked to go for a walk. I indulged and we walked down to watch for a bit.

Finally the day came that they could go. We also invited Eli's friend to come ride with him. They all had so much fun. Ari could not ride on as much and that ended in a few tears, but he still had fun.
Excuse Anthony's silly expression as he waved to Ari
Ari LOVED the carousel. He sat there and waved to everybody.
These boys thought it would be so fun to make throw up noises while riding......
It was a fun day and I am so glad we were able to enjoy it with friends.
