We have a roller, scooter, and groover.

Today was a pretty boring day. Eli went to Aunt Toni's to play. Our picnic was canceled due to weather so he went to visit and play. I worked on bows, relaxed, got my hair cut and well just enjoyed some peace and quiet.

I have decided Lilliana is our dancer and Eli is our singer. She loves to sit on our laps and just moves back and forth especially when music is on anywhere. She also is rolling and scooting everywhere. She was rolling occasionally but today she really put it all together. I put her down at one spot and came back and she was clear across the room!

I also got a Dyson Vacuum today!!! I am so excited. I have wanted one for forever. I did not have to pay a penny for it either! Anthony's Aunt got a really good deal on a brand new one. So we traded services of me doing her daughter's senior photos for the vacuum. It is perfect for me as I could not fathom charging at this point and they are also family!!!  Needless to say I was super excited!

I worked on some more hair accessories. These are mostly for Lilliana as I have big plans for them when I am home and pictures so stay tuned for that but they turned out really great. They look very vintage.PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

We are also going on day two of taking no pictures of my kids!! That is just odd for me. Oh well:) I guess I have given the camera a rest for a little bit. I did manage to get a picture of me though:) LOL Its a self shot so not the best but here is the new hair! I am waiting for highlights to grow out so it really is in that terrible in between stage but I don't want to have to re dye so I have live with it.

This weekend we plan to take Eli to his first movie and I can't wait. Of course we are going to see Cars!! It will be so much fun. Finally Anthony will have the weekend off!!

One of those kind of days!

I guess I had a Monday on in the middle of the week. It was just one of those days. Eli was not the best behaved boy by any means and made life a little bit difficult today. He was tired from not wanting to sleep last night from the storms and just being Eli. Oh well I still love the little pill and when Daddy got home he was so happy to see him. Anthony has been gone the past two nights out of town. Needless to say we all got to enjoy dinner together as a family. I even made no bake cookies for dessert. I felt rather accompolished today as I got a bunch of bows done, house cleaned, dinner and dessert made. It was a good day. I did not have the motivation at first to do it but that is beside the point.

We did not get to have our picnic today as Eli did not obey and so he missed out. Hopefully tomorrow we can go.

We had several storms come through today. It rained. Then it was sunny. Then I was looking out the kitchen window and it was SOO dark so I ran out to get some pictures. The last ones are of what the sky looks like now. It is absolutely beautiful. When I see the clouds like this I always think these are the kind of clouds Jesus will return in. He will return as a light in the dark. It really is awe inspiring. What a Wonderful Saviour we have.dsc_0464dsc_0464dsc_0477dsc_0480dsc_0484 (1)
All in all I can't complain about today. It was productive and I got to see my wonderful husband tonight! Even if Eli is a little crazy sometimes I would not trade him for the world. Lilliana was great today as usual. She has become a talking machine lately. Here is to hoping we make our picnic tomorrow!

Mickey Mouse Pancakes?!?............"YES PLEASE!"

Eli is in a stage where he does not like to eat. Anthony was not going to be home with for dinner last night so I was not in the mood to cook much. I asked Eli if he wanted several things and it was no he just wanted a snack...meaning JUNK!!! So I got to pancakes. He said no but I told him he could make some for mom with me. He was ok with this. Then it came time to pour them and I had a thought! My Grandma Jenny use to make us Mickey Mouse Pancakes. I know lately  Eli has loved Mickey so I asked him and I got the biggest grin and "YES PLEASE!" He was so excited about this. He loved them so much he asked for them for lunch today. I even managed to get some "just lightly brown." That was my Grandma's term for burned!!! She tried disguising it but it never worked!! Yes our kitchen needs work!! One day when we get all of our other remodels done we will get it done:)

dsc_0341dsc_0323 Last night we read together in Eli's bed for a change of pace. Eli thought that was the coolest thing that Lilliana and I were there. The book I read was one I bought when I was about 2 months pregnant with him. I use to read it to him every night before bed when he was an infant. As he got older and picked his own we stopped but he has taken a renewed interest in it. I still have mine from when I was a kid. I loved it. I love Nursery Rhymes. Excuse the fact that I cut off my head. I was using my tripod while we did this so it was an experiment.

He also got caught doing such a kid thing today. I remember doing this as a kid and now I understand why my parents did not allow it! I remember thinking it was such a pain to get the stool so maybe I could get away with it only to have my mom come in and not be very happy with due reason. Needless to say we had a little talk today and tomorrow we will be going to pick out a stool. He was trying to fill his squirt gun.

We have been under a tornado watch and had some severe weather tonight. I would go take pictures but honestly, I am a huge baby and do not like severe weather! So you can just imagine wind, lightening, thunder, rain, and the TV constantly giving weather beeps! We had a great day today and I am hoping for a picnic tomorrow for lunch possibly....we will see how the day progresses but that is the plan. Here are some cute pictures of Miss Lilliana. She is also official today as I got her birth certificate...Eli's too since I could not find his but after looking every where I don't think I ever ordered it. dsc_0403 dsc_0307

Family Fun

Saturday we had an open house to go to for Anthony's cousin. They live about two hours away so we went to that. I also went over to help sew diapers for a couple of hours at Mo Dia. I had a blast and helped a little. I know the steps so that is great. I did not get to be there a lot of time but it was great while I did.

Eli was so excited to see everybody at the open house. He now asks when we stop anywhere on long rides, "All done in the car now?" I am waiting for, "are we there yet?" Thankfully that has not started. He had a blast and it was great to spend time with Anthony's family. He loves everybody and they all adore him. They would like to adore Lilliana too and I know they do but she is at a stage where she screams if anybody but us holds her. It can be a little frustrating but like everything she will grow out of it.

Silly String
He was determined to ride this!
Balancing
He is so smart he figured it out with a little help from Mom and Aunt Tracy

Her tiny little feet are getting so big!

When Anthony got home on Friday night I took Eli for a little walk just he and I. The sun was perfect for lighting and I wanted to practice......I NEED A LOT MORE or maybe a less busy subject. I also wanted to spend some one on one time with Eli. He thought it was great we both left the house barefoot and ran down the street to the little church and I let him run all over the parking lot. I got some ok photos but not what I was looking for but it was a great experience. Here are a few.

I have come across a great blog thanks to my friend Annabelle. Here  is where you can check it out. All that to say if I could be half the photographer that Kelle is I would be thrilled. I also yes am going to steal her idea when I get a chance and rearrange my blog so my photos are bigger. I always get frustrated that they are too big or little etc so when I get a chance new things will be happening. I am glad I am getting back into my blog. It is helping me just relax and enjoy the days and realize how truly blessed I am.

Finally I am one proud mom as now Eli asks to pray every night before bed and has started talking about Jesus and God more and more everyday. This thrills my soul and makes me realize we are doing something right especially my wonderful husband.

4 months have come and gone but..........

In those four months I have watched a beautiful little baby girl grow and become so happy. I did not get a chance to upload these yesterday as we were so busy but I thought I would hurry and do it. She is a joy and so full of happiness. She brings Eli great enjoyment and I can't imagine life without her!

She is sitting up so well.

I now have a mini photographer and have given Eli my old point and shoot. He is always trying to take pictures now when I do and it makes me thrilled!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE WEEKEND!!

Normally I have no preference if its a weekday or weekend. I do the same thing everyday....take care of my kids, hubby, and the house. Sometimes we do extra special things on the weekend and it is fun to look forward to. If Anthony has had a long week it is also something to look forward to but normally I do not care! Well......I am looking forward to this weekend!! Tomorrow I start sewing for Mo Dia diapers!! YAY!! I am sooo beyond excited. It gives me some mommy time and some creativity time. We also have an open house to go to!!

I  had another morning of waking up to the most wonderful thing besides my husband.....the kids. They joined me after Anthony left for work very early!! This was the first thing I saw and it melted my heart again.

Eli has been a little clingy and whiny so he and I spent some special time together last night and tonight. I took him and took some great evening pictures tonight. I don't have those uploaded but I will eventually. Last night after dishes we played in the sink with bubbles. He thoroughly enjoyed that!!

Yesterday Eli went to Aunt Toni's to play so Lilliana and I were together. Poor child always becomes a subject of practice when that happens. We did have some fun though. She amazes me as she can sleep wherever!!!

Today we spent a lot of time outside again. Lilliana enjoyed watching everything in the bumbo and Eli was Eli. Waving at all the cars and telling me all about everything and everybody. He jumped all over. Covered himself in grass, covered mom in grass, and I even think he got Lilliana in on that action too.
Those pants are on backwards!

Then mom decided she needed a pedicure and decided to take a picture so dad could see the need!
When we came in Lilliana once again fell asleep where she was put for five minutes so I could make lunch.
After that she ate and while Eli and I cleaned up she was playing in her jumper and well what do ya know she fell asleep there too................................
All in all it was a GREAT day!! I can't wait for tomorrow as I will be sewing diapers:)

Enjoying my family and going to an open house! I do love summer!!! Have a wonderful weekend everybody!!
