Lazy Fall Days

This weekend was one of those weekends where the sweats, pjs, and lounging dominated our house.

I can't really say we did anything outside of the house. Lilliana was still recovering from teeth. Anthony had the start of a cold and I had a lot of stuff too do.

There were wrestle times with dad.

Not sure why but Jack actually enjoyed Eli this weekend. Usually Eli terrorizes him. Honestly I think it was because Eli got him all covered up and let him be on the couch even though Jack is not supposed to be. Jack likes to hide under the covers.

Needless to say Jack got to stay since Eli was being so nice.

We all got to take a nap at one point. The kids had not been sleeping well so Anthony and I took turns catching up on sleep if that is even possible. Anthony actually fell asleep sitting with Lilliana. So he slept and she played with his shirt, face, everything she could get her hands on.

Eli and I raced. I raced the tonka truck and he raced his little car he rides on. He just loves it and thinks it is hilarious. I push it around like a dork basically trying not to win while he furiously moves his little legs to keep up. Then I decided forget the racing we will play bumper cars. Then we got the idea to put Lilliana in the truck and race around.

After I had had a good 20 minute workout of being bent over pushing 20 pounds all through the house and pushing another 30 in front of me with this truck, Eli decided he was going to push Lilliana around. Oh he LOVED it! She did too. She was just a giggling and talking. It melted my heart. Note the fact that Eli is in his pjs. Yep the kid pretty much lives in a new pair every day. Don't ask him to take them off either. That just opens a can of worms that don't need opened or you want to open.

I also was in a baking mood. So we made pumpkin spice cupcakes. I stocked up a few weeks ago on the pumpkin since this year there is a pumpkin shortage. I could not find it for a while and as soon as I did I stocked up. I say we because I started making them but came in the living room to ask Anthony a question. I went back to the kitchen to find this......

Little Man wanted to bake with me. He had moved the chair into the kitchen and was stirring to his heart content he did a pretty good job too.

We also got some projects done around the house like insulating, organizing some closets, and cleaning stuff stuff out. Still a lot to go but we did get some stuff done!

All in all it was a great weekend! This week is another busy one for us. I have a brand new baby I will have the priviledge of taking pictures of. I can't wait! He has been booked since summer and I am so priviledged to be able to do them! I also have an 18 month old. Such a fun age but I will have to be fast. I plan to take the kids on an adventure tomorrow too. Hopefully the weather holds up. I am loving fall this year and loving having two beautiful kids to share and explore it with. Life is amazing thanks to the many blessings and beatiful weather and seasons God has given me!
