October Catch Up

Besides the weekly Embrace the Camera posts I feel like I have not been able to keep up with my own pictures as I have had clients photos to work on. I am somewhat caught up so I took the time this morning to go through a month's worth of photos. Brace yourself for the montage of cuteness............

October brought along beautiful fall colors of course............

This road is my absolute favorite road because of the colors. I have dreams of family pictures being taken here one day. It is really busy though so I am not sure how well that will ever work out. I took these while driving in the car I should say Anthony driving!

While the trees have been wonderful we have had a lot of  rain. It has meant the kids have some excess energy that never seems to get burned off. It has made for some crazy days.

I have found some interesting things around my house like a barrette attached  to my pantry cupboard.

Anthony has been home a lot more this month. He has had a weird schedule with being laid off then out of town. It has meant much more play time with the kids and they have enjoyed it a lot. I love watching them wrestle and read at night.

We also have discovered we have a thumb sucker.

We celebrated Grandma Terri's birthday. The kids love any excuse to have cake so birthday's are a big deal.

Lilliana has really begun to enjoy so many girl things like tea parties and dolls. There have been many tea parties with all three and stuffed animals.

She and Eli have taken to diapering all the baby dolls. I find the diapers strewn every where several times a day but it is cute to watch.

The biggest thing to them that happened this month is they got bunk beds finally. We were putting it off due to not really being ready for Lilliana to move beds as I still needed sleep and was afraid she would get up in the middle of the night. Finally we did it, and they LOVE them. Many thanks to Aunt Tracy and Uncle Jeff for giving them to us.

They slept great the first night in their new beds.

I had grand plans to teach them all about forts and houses and fun bunk bed games. They beat me to it on their own though. I went in the next morning to show them and they already had a fort made and couldn't wait to show me. Funny thing is a couple of those blankets were mine as a child and I know hung from our bunk beds many times. It melts my heart!

They also discovered the art of sleeping with each other. Eli climbs in Lilliana's bed every night and they sleep together.

We have spent a lot of time playing hide and seek too. The kids love to play it.

They also have discovered a fascination with the stickers that come on the bananas. They put them on their foreheads and love to look in the mirror.

Lilliana and Eli LOVE to hold Ari and talk to him. He loves it too. They also have begun to incorporate him into their wrestling time.

Eli is still enjoying school. He gets really upset if for some reason he thinks we are supposed to have it on a day we don't. He also is looking forward to Halloween and Christmas. It is funny how he is starting to understand these things. His new thing is insisting he needs another sister because there are two brothers and only one sister. He is silly.

Lilliana is into all things girly especially my makeup! Also shoes specifically any type of boot, babies, and dress up. She has developed a lot of sass but is talking a lot. She also had to stand in the corner for hitting for the first time this month. It was too cute not to take a picture of.

Ari is getting so big! Finally he is growing out of the crying all evening, but I had to cut dairy and a lot of soy out of my diet for that to happen. It has made a world of a difference for him though. He has also graduated to using the jumper and loves it. He is sick at the moment as we all are but is doing very well. He just is growing so much it is unbelievable. He did turn 4 months yesterday and I have his photos still to edit. I can't believe he is already 4 months.

It has been a great month. We have trick or treating tonight and I am excited as it is the first year we have done it. Unfortunately we won't be doing a whole lot. I will be taking the kids by myself probably as Anthony is very sick and so is Ari. The kids won't be going far either. We also got to visit my parents and I have photos to edit from that. The kids are getting big and I am getting anxious for busy season of photos to come to an end and the Holiday season to start! All in all we are doing great and have some many things to be thankful for and so much to look forward to!
