Happy 1st Birthday Ari

My dear sweet Ari, 

I can't believe you are 1. You have changed our life in so many ways. Many days I wondered how we would get through your first year and all the craziness that having 3 children 3 and under would bring! Thankfully we managed. You brought us some tear our hair out moments with your non stop screaming, but you brought so many laughs, smiles, and joy from the many wonderful fun moments you brought.

You are my sweet, snuggly boy. You love to snuggle with me and I am going to miss that when you no longer want to snuggle. I held you tight Saturday night just before you turned 1. I wanted to remember those last moments of you being a baby. I made Dad take a picture of you and me before you officially were no longer a baby. 

 


You had  a typical birthday for you. It is your party and you could cry if you wanted to!! Your molars are making their appearance and you did not feel well. Regardless you had a good day. I am so grateful for you even if you were not in Mommy's original idea of how I thought our life would be at this point. God knew and we are so blessed to have you. I love you my little Lion. First taste of cake......

 

He didn't really care much about eating his cake. He was more interested in making a mess, talking to his dad, brother, and sister, and going after the balloons.............

 

I had this bath planned a long time ago. It just never happened due to him being sick and then surgery so I figured it was perfect for after a cake smash. He actually enjoyed it the most. I have to give a lot of thanks for a fellow Photog allowing me to borrow her wash bowl, Meg if you read this THANK YOU!! I will get it back to you ASAP:)

We sang to him and he had presents after. For a first birthday I think it was perfect.
