Making Homemade Baby Food-Day 4 Nectarines and Peaches

These are both done the same so you can do them together or separate. I did mine together because I had a hungry little boy who ate a bunch of my peaches and nectarines this week so I only had 7 peaches and 4 nectarines. I also bought less nectarines because Eli did not care for them as much as the peaches. They are a little more tart.

I did things a little different than I normally do. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WAY!!! You need to cut the peaches in half and take the pit out. I did not do this. I was having a hard time getting them out and had a screaming baby so I just said forget it and threw them in the steamer to cook. It was a lot messier so just do it before cooking!

Steam for 10-15 minutes covered.

When they are done the flesh or skin will be coming off.

Take a spoon and scrape the rest...I was in a hurry and failed to get a picture of blending but here is the end result. They are super easy!!!

I got six bags of Nectarines out of 4 actual nectarines and 9 bags of peaches out of 7 actual peaches. I will be taking a break from baby food for a little bit as I need to go to the market to get some more. I will be doing some pees, zucchini, and summer squash next when I get to it. I also will probably do some carrots and possible green beans although I have found green beans are better done fresh as are bananas.
