I am in a rut. I have lots of grand ideas and plans to do but just can't get the creativity motivation to get there. I need to start the kids rooms but just can't get the ideas to do it. I have some ideas I just need to put it all together.
I need to put together pictures to have printed for our room and our wall of photos I am planning to design. I also am in a rut for pictures!!! I just can't bring myself to take any. I do have some I really want to do of Lilliana and Eli, but Lilliana is cranky from teeth. I think it all boils down to the fact my computer has me freaked out. I know its going soon!! I got blue screen of death yesterday. Anthony would buy me one now if I would let him but I know it is not wise. There are some things that need taken care of first so that will be done.
So I stand on a path and go for it care free knowing any day the computer could go and so that means no picture editing and a back up of pictures which I LOATHE!! It takes the enjoyment out of taking them. The other way is just put the camera away for a while and lose a part of me. Its so sad I rely on the computer for retrieving photos. I even just thought of a third idea. Pull out the film cameras and do some film for a few weeks. That might be the end result. We shall see. All that to say I am in a rut and am frustrated by it. I need some creativity outlet. Hopefully that starts soon!!
We are blessed Anthony is working very close to home this week and short hours! Tonight we are finishing up our room. I am excited for that. It has needed to be done for a while. We also plan to go to the fair this week! Hopefully more posts to come for the week and some pictures, but only time will tell if that happens.
we recently bought an external hard drive. it was under $80 and it's strictly to back-up all my photos... perhaps that is an option for your back-up.
ReplyDeletealso, it's fairly safe to just save them to a photo site (like shutterfly or snapfish). the internet's a good free back-up, i just think it takes forever to load pictures on them! :) computer problems are frustrating. maybe you could barter out some of your useful talents for a computer geek to fix your computer. we've done that more than once! there's a barter section on craigslist you might check out.
Thanks Tawna!! The problem is the lack of space. I do have an external hard drive. I back everything up there. It is just a combination of an old computer and too many large filed pictures. We did some stuff to help but there is a driver that is the problem now and we just know its time. I just am trying to hold out as long as possible. I did take some photos today and feel better!!:)
