Reminiscing about those wonderful kid things................

Do you remember laying out in the grass as a kid watching the clouds go by and making shapes out of them? Well, the past two days the clouds have been great for that.

I have had to drive the past two days several places on the back roads and the clouds have been absolutely beautiful.

This barn is a great old barn. Part of it fell apart a while ago but they still use it.  I took these pictures on my way home from the bank today.

Yesterday we endured shots. The kids were troopers and only after a few tears they were happy and content again.

Eli got a lunch box from his Great Grandma Jenny yesterday. He got to take that to his shots and get a special treat out of it that she packed for him. That seemed to help. They both had sore legs and went to bed early.

Yesterday I made Eli's Storyboard of Expressions. It ended up going really well.

Eli thinks he is a dog like Kenya and Jack. We have been doing tricks with them. He does them along with the dogs including whining, barking, and even wanting to eat a milk bone......

Lilliana has also taken to the dogs in the past couple of weeks. She belly laughs so much anytime they come around.PhotobucketPhotobucket

Anthony has been getting home early this week which has been great! He has been able to accompany us to the park and just help out. It has been nice. We have also taken several trips to Home Depot in the past week. Eli loves to look at tools with Anthony. He is Anthony's little shadow and I love it.

A couple weeks ago when I went grocery shopping I picked up a box of animal crackers. I loved getting those as a kid. I remember sitting in the cart just waiting until we were done grocery shopping to open them. The little string on them was the best. It was like your own personal package. I gave it to Eli the other day and then he got another one from Grandma Jenny in his lunch box. He loves them.

I am thinking its getting to be time to start solids with Lilliana soon. She keeps grabbing our food. She took one of my cucumbers the other and sucked away.PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
She was furious when I took it away.................

Tomorrow we are going to the fair! I am very excited! I love fair food and I am sure Eli and Lilliana will have a blast.
