Out of my Rut

Months ago before Lilliana was born I bought a book talking about photographing your baby's first year. It has a ton of inspiration for the little things to capture of your baby and the timeframes that are good. So far I have been really good and gotten everything but there are some pictures I realized I had not done before she turned 6 months. This gave me the inspiration I needed yesterday. She was cranky as ever but we made it work. I still have some more I need to do. I probably will not get to them until tomorrow as today both children have shots and we all know how that goes!!

So here is another photo inspiration.....................A Storyboard of Expressions. She has become fascinated with her tongue lately. Its so funny! Anthony actually came home yesterday as I was setting up tripod, reflector, seat, back drop, etc. and he said you have got to get a picture of her doing this as she was playing. I said that is what I am trying to do. Thankfully she continued doing it. She has started to get a cute little curl on top and we both decided that needs to be captured. I am planning to do a storyboard of Eli like this. It might be harder than she was. I had a lot of great facial expressions but I wanted her eyes on the camera so we will see how he does!!!


It rained at one point yesterday and Eli wanted to play in it. The rain did not last long but he had fun. I keep thinking he needs some rain galoshes and a rain coat. This affirmed my thought. He still had fun playing. Now he keeps asking when it will rain.


Nothing else exciting happening around here. I dread today and getting shots but it must be done. So away we will go and when we are done, there will be tears, hugs, kisses, stickers, a special treat, and hopefully smiles in the end.
