Lazy Days

We have not had a lazy day in  a long time on the weekend. It seems the entire month of June we were running everywhere. Today we decided to just relax and do some house projects. We considered going to a laundry mat or one of Anthony's aunt's house to do clothes because we are out of some essentials but decided it can wait until our washer gets here tomorrow. Here is to hoping it makes it in time to get a few things washed for Church so we can make it!!!!!

I woke up to Anthony asking me, "hey mom, what lives in the jungle is orange with black stripes and is of the feline family?"

I said, "A tiger." The obvious answer. I figured Eli and he had watched something of TV about it because Anthony was so kind to let me sleep in.

Anthony proceeds to tell me, "No............A Tirrrrrrrrrrrrre!" TOO FUNNY!!! That is how Eli decided to start pronouncing it and got mad if any body else said Tiger.

Lilliana played with her first doll today. I bought her this Cabbage Patch Doll for Easter. I just had to get it for her! She looks just like it with big blue eyes and a chubby chubby cheeks. She loved it and of course I loved opening it and smelling that new doll smell. It brought back so many wonderful childhood memories.

She has had a bit of a rough day as she has about 6 teeth either making an appearance or beginning that starting stage of trying to. Poor girl. She ended up crying at one point for an hour straight then fell fast asleep in Daddy's arms.

Our house needs a lot of work. One of those things is re wiring certain outlets and rooms so Anthony worked on that today. Of course he had his little shadow. Anthony normally has Eli right by his side but at first did not want him helping because he was dealing with live wires and it was not safe for Eli to be around as that kid can be way tooo curious. I have never seen a little boy so heartbroken. Daddy really hurt his feelings and he went to the corner to pout. After all that was taken care of Anthony let him go downstairs to help. Our downstairs is a little boy's dream place. He loves just running. We don't use it for much but it is very clean for a Michigan basement and any time Eli gets the chance to be there he LOVES every minute of it.

I made homemade yogurt while they did this. It is one of my favorite things to eat and very easy to make......................................

After dinner we went for a walk to the park.Photobucket

Eli loves to swing so he did that the majority of the time.PhotobucketPhotobucket

Lilliana hung out in stroller and watched her brother.PhotobucketPhotobucket

Eli did some big boy things.......PhotobucketPhotobucket

Then he played in his favorite thing.

By this point Lilliana is asleep in the stroller so we decided to head home. Eli did find some money for his piggy bank before we left. He was very excited about finding it.

I just had to take this picture. He had a very funny face.

Somebody had some fun and Eli noticed it. He loves STOP signs..........

All in all it was a great day. I will be so glad when I get a washer tomorrow.
