We are going to have to do something different about the way it sits in our laundry room but that is ok. Right now it works great. I was going to be getting a base for it but after the few times of bending over to get clothes I have decided to hold off as it has been a great workout. Now if I were pregnant you can forget it! We would have one but since I am not I will enjoy the workout. Also Eli can get clothes in and out perfect. Its pretty cute to watch. He just comes in and helps. The only problem is I had not switched out batteries on my camera and so I don't have a picture but I am sure I will eventually. He is such a big helper.
We had some great thunderstorms come through yesterday. I was in doing laundry and saw lightening and as I saw it heard a bang. It scared me so bad. It ended up blowing a tree out a couple blocks away I think. I have yet to go see but Anthony said he thought it did. He saw the lightening go across the sky. I was able to get a few pictures. I have not done anything to them as I just don't have the time right now so they are right off my camera. I also am shooting complete manual now for everything. I am pretty proud of myself!! Its amazing how it has all clicked. The wind and rain picked up right as I was taking these and you could just feel the clouds about ready to dump everything.............
Today I took the kids to the store to pick up some things we need for this week and I also got my wedding ring resized. I think my bones have grown from pregnancy because I just can't get it on. I will use that excuse for now! I know I need to lose weight but I am only 8 pounds from where I was before Lilliana and in the jeans I wore before her and could wear my ring so I don't think it is that. It does feel good to be wearing it again.
Sadly, I did not take my camera but I should have today. I missed so many great and fun things to capture with the kids but I would have never gotten anything done and hauling 20 pound Lilliana around all the while making sure Eli was not getting into anything just was not going to work with a camera. Carrying that girl everywhere is a workout in itself. I will be glad when she walks. Eli was walking at her size so we never had to carry him. She is just a big girl but we love her so much!
I told Eli before we even went into the jewelry store to not touch a thing. They have a lot of glass teacups and stuff. He was really great until we were leaving and I was not even paying attention but as we were walking out of the store he was running his hand along the top of the counter and hit a teacup. I wanted to die!! Thankfully nothing was hurt but he immediately looked at me and said, "I'm Sorry!!" All in all it was a great day!!
